Morning sickness is part of pregnancy. This morning sickness is a common problem in the early months of pregnancy and it's a combination of nausea and vomiting. Thus, women cannot avoid to experience vomiting and nausea during their first three months of pregnancy. Experts agreed that morning sickness is the side effect due to largely changes in the hormonal production. Some women may experience vomiting because they have an enhanced sense of smell, sensitivity to noxious odors and sensitive stomach. However it may be on or off after six months.
Women experience morning sickness have a successful pregnancy occurs. Several researchers try to find out the causes of morning sickness but the answer is still a mystery. Everyone reacts differently that is why some other women are lucky enough that they are not experiencing morning sickness but it doesn't mean they are abnormal.
To cope up with this morning sickness physician advise to eat foods like crackers, dried fruits, boiled sweet potatoes these foods helps to coat stomach in the early of the morning and reduce gastric discomfort. It is also good to eat small but frequent meals to avoid empty stomach and to alleviate the symptoms. Foods that are high source of protein may help fight nausea.
Eating few crackers when wake up in the morning may help you to avoid feeling nauseated. Hunger may
lead to nausea so women should eat something to fill their stomach. Women have a sensitive stomach must eat only foods that they like to avoid vomiting. Even though it is not add to your plan healthy diet go for it than losing your appetite for the day.
Avoid intake of too much sweet foods, which may enhance nausea and fatty foods that take more time to digest. Eat first before taking vitamins to avoid irritation in your digestive system. Drink low sugar carbonated and sport beverages that contain glucose, salt and potassium that can help replace electrolytes that are lost during heavy vomiting.
Ginger tea is also good alternative remedy to avoid vomiting. Researchers found ginger better than some pharmaceuticals in fighting morning sickness. However, it should consider also the amount to intake to avoid overdose. Drink it slowly, few sips at a time will work. Pickled raw grapes in vinegar and salt is good remedy for morning sickness, nausea and vomiting.
Expectants mothers may also feel bothered by an increase in saliva, known as pytalism, which will add to the feeling of nausea she may have. Chewing gum may provide some relief.
In taking some medicine, ask your doctor about a appropriate vitamin B6 supplement. Always keep in touch with your doctor or physician to avoid any complication that may arise as a result of severe vomiting.
