Another possible cause for ineffectiveness is the skill of the technician performing the procedure as well as the type and strength of the laser used in the process. This process is contraindicated or not advised for use in people who have recently acquired tans - this is because of the nature of the laser in targeting darkened areas of the skin. People with darker pigmentation are also contraindicated for a laser removal procedure.
Side Effects Of Laser Epilation
The side effects experienced by people who undergo the process of laser hair epilation differ. A common side effect is acne. This reaction is brought about by the skin’s reaction towards the laser it has been exposed to. The case of acne is often mild especially when laser epilation is performed on much smaller areas like the armpits. Laser epilation can also cause a darkening of the skin, especially if the technician performing the procedure is inexperienced.
