Soccer is a fun and challenging sport for children to play together on any day of the week. All that is needed to play the game of soccer is a ball, a playing field that is equipped with two goals and enough children to make up two teams. Since there are twenty-two children needed for a game, parents usually organize neighborhood soccer teams to ensure that there are enough children to form a game of soccer.
Soccer is a coordinated sport because it requires twenty-two people to move at great speeds without acquiring any injuries while doing so. Every child on the team must understand the object of the game and know that they must move the soccer ball down the field and into a goal in order to score a goal and earn a point on the scoreboard. The trick that children must learn is that they must move the soccer ball with their feet and never use their hands at any time. Soccer can be great fun for children after they learn how to move and weave their strategies on the playing field. Some of the children will fumble and lose the ball several times on the way to the goal area and other children will show talent in the way that they play soccer.
These are the children that need to be encouraged to continue their soccer playing because it could earn them a very good income one day when they are much older. Children will lea
rn the rules one by one and have a great time doing so. They will learn that only people allowed to use their hands to play soccer are the people who are blocking shots that are kicked toward their team’s goal. These people are usually referred to as goalies and every player on the team will eventually get the opportunity to play this position at least once. The other team mates usually use their feet to kick the ball but have been known to use their heads to intercept the ball when it is in the air. Soccer is a game played by children and adults all over the United States and all over the Europe.
Soccer is a sport that requires a lot of concentration and a lot of team work but not necessarily to an extreme that professional soccer player’s use when they play their soccer matches on a competitive level. All children need to remember is that the biggest score wins the soccer game and they will be very intent on doing their best to make sure that happens. Soccer also takes a lot of practice, but children should be reminded that practice makes perfect and the more practice time that they can get then the better their soccer game will be week after week. Parents like soccer a lot and think that neighborhood soccer teams give their children a great opportunity to get the exercise that they will need to grow up healthy.
