In addition to cool graphics, a great logo, and overall design, you need to ensure that your website is also user friendly. A user friendly website means that your website visitors can navigate through your site quickly, easily, and efficiently. Some times, people tend to focus solely on graphics, video, animations, and cool colors and overlook or neglect the importance of keeping the site user friendly. Although having a great looking website is important, if your site isn’t easy to navigate you run the risk of losing repeat visitors. You should always make sure that your navigation bar is easy to see as well as follow. Make sure that you provide plenty of inbound links within your site so that your visitors can find their way around, and make their way back to your home page easily. A great way to ensure that your website is user friendly is to use SSL includes for navigational menus. This way you can make sure that your website offers the same navigational information on each page. You may also want to make sure that your contact information is readily seen on every page of your website as well. If you a

By placing your contact information on each page, and including a toll free number you may see an increase in your sales. The colors and fonts that you choose will have a definite impact on the quality or ease of your visitors to navigate your site. It is a good idea to stay clear from bright colored backgrounds or light colored text. These can be very hard for some visitors to see. Keeping dark text on light or white backgrounds is generally preferred as being the most user friendly. Many visitors may find that music that plays automatically is a distraction. If your site plays music, you may want to ensure that your visitors have the choice of starting and stopping the music, rather than setting it to auto play. You should ensure that your website is easy to download, and if you have any elements that slow the page down, you should remove them. By keeping your site user friendly you can rest assured that your visitors will continue to return to your site.
